Gilbert’s talents as a writer, arranger and producer span many different styles of music. Below is a list of the projects that Gilbert is involved with.

Chapel of Dreams

A project made in collaboration with the producer Youth, Verve and Gorrilaz guitarist Simon Tong and Drummer/Engineer David Nock.
Basia Goodwin’s beautiful vocals front this classic Velvet Underground and Nico inspired sumptuous debut. Now available to download from Amazon and iTunes.

Another Sun

This new instrumental project from Krakow, Poland features Kroke’s violinist and viola player, Kukush (who has also worked with Nigel Kennedy and Peter Gabriel) and Engineer Darek Gryla. . The album is scheduled to be released in Spring 2011. A free track is down-loadable if you submit your email address (see ‘1 free download’ box in right hand column).

Melt 21

This is an indie rock project co-written and produced with Gareth Sanders (a talented singer songwriter that performed at the Open’er festival, Gdansk, Poland). Influences include the Beatles and the Zombies. The title track “Film Without A Name” was inspired by Pete Doherty’s shenanigans and was featured in an independent movie.

The Believers

Gilbert’s last co-production with Andy Fryer (a talented Warner/Chappell Music in-house engineer, who has worked with just about everybody including the great Chaka Khan).
This track “Serotonin Sky” has Tim Bradshaw (David Grays’ guitarist) guesting.

They Fly Kites

Inspired by the Sundays/ Cocteaux, this is a one-off collaboration with Polish singer Joanna Piwovar. Listen here to the title track “Circles”.


Futurasound emerged in the midst of recording singles for Geoff Travis’s label Blanco y Negro, on which, the original single ‘Call my name’ and the remixes by Way Out West were released. The independently released track ‘Reminiscence’ received MTV play and was a favorite amongst Djs such as Tall Paul.

Vocalists that featured on the debut album include Shara Nelson (Massive attack), Kirsty Hawkshaw (Opus lll) and Shola Ama.
